The Turlock Unified School District Character Counts Students of the Month for the trait of ‘responsibility” are Turlock Junior High School students Andrew Wang and Sarah Siegel.
Wang says his role models who have taught him about being responsible include Abraham Lincoln, his teachers at TJHS, his friends and most importantly his parents, who he says have given him the tools to be successful in life.
The young man is the TJHS student body president, plays piano in the jazz band and is on the track and tennis team.
Siegel is an honors GATE student and plays in the TJHS symphony. She is also a leader on the volleyball team and she is student body treasurer.
