Turlock police arrested a known drug smuggler on Wednesday morning who had a warrant out of San Bernardino.
The Turlock Narcotics Enforcement Team had received information that Eilbaron Gevergizian, 33, who had a $250,000 felony warrant out of San Bernardino, was allegedly living at a residence on the 2700 block of North Olive Avenue.
TNET officers served a warrant to the Olive Avenue residence and contacted Gevergizian at approximately 9:02 a.m Wednesday.
A search of the residence led officers to also locate approximately two ounces of heroin and methamphetamine, according to the Turlock Police Department.
Gevergizian was arrested for the $250,000 felony warrant, possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, and possession for sales, said TPD spokesperson, Officer Mayra Lewis.
