Turlock police arrested a duo early on Monday after finding them in possession of a stolen vehicle and methamphetamine.
At approximately 1:55 a.m. Monday, Turlock police allegedly stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Lander and Linwood avenues that had been reported stolen.
According to Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb, the vehicle had been reported stolen from the 800 block of Grandview Circle at 1:05 a.m.
An officer spotted the vehicle, which they allegedly knew was stolen, said Webb.
When the officer stopped the vehicle, they contacted the driver, Katherine Womack, 22, and a passenger, David Hendon, 35, in the alleged stolen vehicle.
Womack was arrested for auto theft and possession of stolen property.
The officer performed a probation search on Hendon and found that he was in possession of methamphetamine. He was subsequently arrested for the meth.
