A suspect is in custody on multiple drug charges after allegedly attempting to dispose of heroin around noon on Friday, when he was spotted by Turlock police.
At approximately 12:14 p.m. on the Fourth of July, Joseph Poma, 32, noticed officers on the 800 block of Pedras Road.
Upon seeing the officers, Pomas allegedly attempted to dispose of heroin that he was in possession of, according to the Turlock Police Department.
Turlock police stopped Poma and arrested him for possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
