The 8th Annual Harvest Bowl, a cross-town football rivalry game between the Pitman Pride and Turlock Bulldogs, will take place at Joe Debely Stadium at Turlock High School on Friday night.
Every since the Harvest Bowl’s conception, the football game has packed Joe Debely Stadium at Turlock High as thousands come to show support for both Turlock teams.
Turlock High School Bulldogs didn’t win a Harvest Bowl game until 2008 when they beat Pitman 7-0. Pitman Pride has won 5 out of the 7 Harvest Bowl games, losing a second time last year.
Pitman (8-1, 3-1) is just one game above Turlock (7-2, 3-1) overall but tied in the Central California Conference.
This year’s Harvest Bowl game will be played on Friday, November 4, 2011, as the JV teams play at 5:15pm and the Varsity teams play at 7:30.
Tickets are still available at both Pitman and Turlock High Schools. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students or anyone under 18 years of age. This event sells out so get your tickets now.
