This year’s 4th of July in Turlock is going to be a blast with a full day of entertainment and festivities in Downtown Turlock, while the nighttime fireworks show will take place at the campus of California State University, Stanislaus!
While many Turlockers might have 4th of July plans with their friends and families, they’ve most likely incorporated the day-long community activities and events.
Turlock Downtown Property Owners Association is hosting multiple events, including a parade, street faire, and car show that will feature live music and food vendors at this year’s family-friendly and alcohol-free event!
Families can begin their celebrations as early as 8 a.m. on Independence Day. Kicking off the morning will be a street faire, followed by the Independence Day Parade beginning at 10 a.m., and the 4th of July Car Show that will run through 2 p.m.
A kids zone and live music will be going on from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Central Park/Downtown area’s.
The kids zone will include glow in the dark bracelets for the first 2,000 kids, a bounce house, games, face painting, and crafting! And the vendors participating include jewelry/clothing, arts and crafts, and of course food vendors, for the day-long outdoor activities!
There are signs along Main Street stating that there will be no parking allowed on July 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Main Street will be closed until about 2 p.m. for the Independence Day Parade, 4th of July Car Show, and street faire in Downtown Turlock.
After Downtown’s festivities, Turlock’s nighttime fireworks show celebration will be held at California State University, Stanislaus.
On the Stanislaus State campus, activities for kids will begin at 7 p.m., and then at 9 p.m. the whole family can enjoy the 4th of July Fireworks Show.
Everyone be safe while celebrating.
Happy 4th of July!
