Some Turlock Unified School District (TUSD) seats remain open, specifically Areas 3 and 7, or unchallenged with Area 1 Trustee Barney Gordon, an appointed incumbent, and Frank M. Lima, incumbent Area 5 Trustee both running unopposed for their respective seats.

Additionally, there are multiple County Board of Education seats, as well as town-specific school district and irrigation board seats up for election.

To appear on the ballot, all candidates meeting the office-specific qualifications, including incumbents, must file nomination documents by the Aug. 7 deadline. An updated and revised list of candidates who have filed their nomination documents with the County Elections office will be posted daily during this period.
