On Tuesday, January 8th, 2013, the Turlock Irrigation District Board of Directors will hold their regularly scheduled meeting at 9am, held at the Main Office Building located at 333 East Canal Drive in Turlock.

This question was the premise of a ‘shoulder tap’ operation recently conducted by the Turlock Police Department, in which three individuals were arrested for agreeing to do so.

Turlock Police Department responded to calls regarding shots fired in the 800 block of South Avenue, in Turlock, on December 29th, 2012, at approximately 9:15am. When officers arrived on scene, 35-year old David Hernandez was found with gunshot wounds. After being transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, Hernandez did not survive.

Although the regularly scheduled Turlock Irrigation District Board of Directors meeting was cancelled for Tuesday, December 25th, due to the Christmas holiday, the Board of Directors will be meeting on Wednesday, December 26th for a special meeting at 12pm. The meeting will be held at the Main Office Building, located at 333 E. Canal Drive.

The Turlock Police Department Narcotics Enforcement Team (TNET) served a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of West Linwood, on December 20th, 2012. While searching the residence, detectives found methamphetamine packaged for sale, US currency, and a loaded stolen shotgun.
