On Tuesday, November 11th, the Turlock Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold their regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30pm, at the Turlock Unified School District Professional Development Center located at 1100 Cahill Avenue in Turlock.

Friday night, at approximately 6:31pm, the Turlock Police Department responded to the area of S. Berkeley, just south of East Avenue, on the report of a possible burglary in progress. Sergeant Anthony Silva, along with other Turlock Police Department officers, responded to the location. Sergeant Silva arrived to the location first and located two unknown subjects. As Sergeant Silva waited for back up units, he was suddenly struck by an uninvolved vehicle.

The Turlock Police Department actively searched for two boys, 11 year old Owen Michael Robertson and 13 year old James Michael Bowen, who went missing after they were last seen leaving their northeast Turlock home on Thursday morning around 8am.

The Turlock Police Department issued a missing children advisory for two Turlock juveniles, 11 year old Owen Michael Robertson and 13 year old James Michael Bowen, at around 12:30pm today.

On Tuesday, December 11th, the Turlock City Council will welcome newly elected Steven Nascimento and celebrate the reelection of Councilwoman Amy Bublak and City Treasurer Diana Lewis. Council Elect Steven Nascimento, Councilwoman Amy Bubalk, and City Treasurer, all of whom were elected to the Turlock City Council on November 6th, will be sworn into office on Tuesday.

On Thursday, December 6th, at 7pm, the City of Turlock Planning Commission will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at City Hall, where the Commission will hear a staff report on the Minor Discretionary and Other Permits issued by City of Turlock Staff in 2012.

The Turlock Fire Department reported that a 64 year old resident in the 300 block of S. Laurel Street in Turlock escaped a kitchen fire on Friday night.
