Traffic Advisory: Turlock Police Investigating Fatal Collision at Rose and F Streets Brandon McMillan/TurlockCityNews.com
The Turlock Police Department is currently investigating a fatal collision at the intersection of Rose and F streets that occurred Saturday morning.

Police have set up a perimeter around the intersection and traffic is blocked on Rose Street between East Avenue and Cottonwood Street to through traffic, as well as F Street between Alpha Road and Minaret Avenue.

The collision occurred before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Rose and F Streets, however little details are available at this time.

Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Neil Cervenka confirmed that the collision was fatal, but the victim has not been identified.

According to Cervenka, the investigation is still in the early stages. The Turlock Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team is currently investigating.

The collision appears to have involved a motorcycle, but, at this time, it is unknown if they were the victim.

This is the second fatal collision in Turlock this week, after Khananshoo Safarkaylan, 66, was hit and killed while crossing Geer Road on Thursday afternoon. Safarkaylan was not in the crosswalk, according to authorities.

  1. Tired of the nonsense.

The big orange tree blocks the clear line of vision at the north east corner of this intersection.
I have had many close calls there.
Neighborhood preservation should have addressed this long ago but rather cite someone for Halloween...

Neighborhood preservation should have addressed this long ago but rather cite someone for Halloween decorations, only in Turlock.

I live on this street, and this guy is always speeding on his motorcycle. It's a small street, in the middle of the night you hear him. But condolences to everybody involved.
