Turlock Police Release Suspect Identity in Restaurant Shooting Case

Jorge Emanuel Martinez, 26, is sought by police and wanted for Assault with a Firearm. 11-15-12Turlock Police have released the identity of a man allegedly responsible for a shooting at Los Gallos Restaurant in Turlock. Jorge Emanuel Martinez, 26, is sought by police and wanted for Assault with a Firearm. Police continue to investigate a shooting that occurred at Los Gallos Restaurant in which one man was shot and the suspect fled the scene.

According to Turock Police, the suspect entered Los Gallos Restaurant, located at 811 W. Hawkeye Avenue in Turlock, and started an altercation with two men, who are brothers. The suspect was hit in the head with an object. The suspect then pulled out a gun and shot a victim, hitting one of the brothers in the leg.

The victim suffered a non-life threatening wound and was transported to a local hospital.

The other brother ran out to the parking lot and fled the scene.

The suspect went out to the parking lot, fired off more rounds, and then also fled the scene.

The investigation is on-going and Turlock Police are actively looking for the suspect. Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call Detective Perez at 668-5550 ext 6630.
