The white tarps covering the Brandon Koch Memorial Skate Park are a signal that project plans are still moving forward. In fact, they are moving so far forward that Director of Development Service Michael Pittcock noted that staff has discussed a ribbon cutting for the park.
Make-A-Wish, the City of Turlock, and the community are making one young boy’s wish come true, today! This 7 year-old Turlocker by the name of Koran has battled Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, a type of T-Cell Lymphoma, since 2013.
If you are looking to rent a picnic area of a Turlock park for an upcoming Halloween party or Fall fun, the deadline is coming up soon. Although the 25 parks are still open to everyone, Oct. 31 is the last day you are able to rent the available Turlock parks and secure an area for your own personal use.
With the second annual open enrollment season for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act opening Nov. 1, 2015, there are certain things individuals newly seeking private insurance should know. Covered California is the state’s marketplace for insurance in accordance with the federal Affordable Care Act, or as many refer to it as Obama Care, that was created by the California Department of Health Care Services for individuals and small businesses to purchase health insurance plans from about 10 different companies.
Charter customers are dealing with an outage affecting multiple areas in the Central Valley, and reportedly throughout California. Charter representatives have indicated that there have been outages affecting the Turlock area.
Turlock and the surrounding area are currently experiencing another widespread and long-lasting outage of Charter services. This outage is not statewide, however, it is regional. Video, internet, and phone services have been impacted in the outage. There is currently no timetable for when services will be returned. Services have been down since approximately 1:30 p.m.
Congressman Jeff Denham will make a town hall appearance, in person, after three months since President Donald Trump was sworn into office. Local elected leaders of the community will be heading to the Larsa Banquet Hall for the Government Night Town Hall.
