Turlock Police have released the identity of a man allegedly responsible for a shooting at Los Gallos Restaurant in Turlock. Jorge Emanuel Martinez, 26, is sought by police and wanted for Assault with a Firearm. Police continue to investigate a shooting that occurred at Los Gallos Restaurant in which one man was shot and the suspect fled the scene.

Next Two TID Board Meetings Canceled

According to a public notice by the Turlock Irrigation District (TID), the next two regularly schedule TID Board meetings have been canceled.

The Turlock Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), that acts as the tourism marketing arm of the City by agreement between the City of Turlock and the Turlock Chamber of Commerce, will be giving its annual report and seeking the Turlock City Council’s approval to fund its efforts in a 2013 proposed budget.

While the Turlock Irrigation District (TID) has canceled two consecutive Board meetings, a Special Meeting has been called for on November 28th to hold a labor negotiator conference in closed session with the Turlock Irrigation District Employees’ Association and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. The Special Board meeting will take place at 3pm on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at the Main Office Building, located at 333 East Canal Drive.

Turlock Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred in the 300 block of F St at approximately 3:30pm on Sunday.

On November 3rd, an 18 year old passenger, Taylor Vessel of Delhi, died from partially being ejected from a vehicle that crashed into a house in the 1200 block of Lander Avenue in Turlock. The suspected drive fled the scene and police have been searching for the unidentified suspect. The Turlock Police Department has now identified Jose Jesus Aguilar, 19 of Delhi, as the suspect in a fatal hit and run that occurred on Lander Avenue.

The Turlock Fire Department reported that a 64 year old resident in the 300 block of S. Laurel Street in Turlock escaped a kitchen fire on Friday night.

Turlock Police Issue Missing Children Alert

The Turlock Police Department issued a missing children advisory for two Turlock juveniles, 11 year old Owen Michael Robertson and 13 year old James Michael Bowen, at around 12:30pm today.

The Turlock Police Department actively searched for two boys, 11 year old Owen Michael Robertson and 13 year old James Michael Bowen, who went missing after they were last seen leaving their northeast Turlock home on Thursday morning around 8am.

Friday night, at approximately 6:31pm, the Turlock Police Department responded to the area of S. Berkeley, just south of East Avenue, on the report of a possible burglary in progress. Sergeant Anthony Silva, along with other Turlock Police Department officers, responded to the location. Sergeant Silva arrived to the location first and located two unknown subjects. As Sergeant Silva waited for back up units, he was suddenly struck by an uninvolved vehicle.
