Trick-or-Treat Downtown on Saturday TurlockCityNews.com
Would your kids want to get started trick-or-treating earlier in the day? Do you want a safe place to go?

This is not a trick, but a treat! You can take an early stroll through the spooky corridors of Main Street for trick-or-treating, on Saturday afternoon.

There will be 30 businesses participating in giving out candy to kids on Halloween day.

The Kiwanis Club of Turlock will be hosting the Trick-or-Treat Downtown event. The free, fun filled day begins at 11 a.m and runs until 4 p.m. The event’s host will be setup at Central Park, located at 115 South Golden State Boulevard.

Trick-or-treaters can begin to fill their bags by starting at Central Park, next to the Turlock Chamber of Commerce, where free popcorn will be handed out. Then trick-or-treaters can stroll the rest of Downtown for candy and treats.

Have fun and be safe in Downtown Turlock!

As the Parents of a 2 year old we thought the downtown event was wonderful. It allowed us to take our little girl during daylight to enjoy all of the fun of Halloween without the dangers of roaming around in the dark. She loved the candy and all the great costumes the other kids had on and mom and Dad got to see stores they might not normally go into and look forward to visiting again. Thank you Downtown assoc. we hope you will make this a tradition downtown.
