Bikrambir Singh, 32 year old male, was recently arrested for stabbing another man with kitchen knife.

Turlock Police Department responded to a possible aggravated assault at 12 p.m. on June 21 at the Park Knolls Apartments, located on the 1100 block of Pedras Road.

According to Turlock Police Spokesperson Officer Steven Rodrigues, a verbal argument arose between Singh and the victim. During the course of the argument, Singh grabbed a kitchen knife from the kitchen and proceeded to stab the victim once in the lower chest/stomach area.

Singh was charged with false imprisonment due to the fact that he refused to let the victim out of the apartment after stabbing him, preventing him from calling for help.

When the police responded, they discovered that the victim received non-life threatening injuries.

Singh was arrested during the course of the officer’s investigation for charges of aggravated assault and false imprisonment.
