Turlock police arrested two suspects, including a wanted auto theft suspect, on Oct. 23 after making a bike stop.

Officers stopped and contacted Katherine Womack, 22, on the 100 block of Lander Avenue on Thursday night at approximately 11:15 p.m.

According to Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis, Womack was stopped for not having proper lighting on her bicycle.

Officers found that Womack had a $50,500 felony warrant for auto theft and she was arrested and booked.

Five minutes after officers contacted Womack, officers also contacted David Hendon, 36, who was found to have a felony drug related warrant. He was arrested and booked.

Womack and Hendon were previously arrested in July when they were spotted driving a stolen vehicle.
