Construction of a new downtown commercial building for the relocation of Malek Chiropractic was recently completed to replace the burned down Red Steer Restaurant, and someone already tried to burglarize the business. The burglary occurred at approximately 3:45 a.m. on Apr. 19, when a man broke the glass on the front door of the commercial building located on the 200 block of Golden State Boulevard, according to Turlock Police Department Spokesman Sergeant Neil Cervenka.
Turlock police officers have responded to Columbia Avenue and taped off a crime scene. At around 7 p.m., the Turlock Police Department responded to the 800 block of Columbia Avenue for a call of an assault with a deadly weapon.
Turlock police responded to a robbery call, while also getting a report about an officer being shot. This morning, the Turlock Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the CVS located on Geer Road.
The Turlock Police Department has responded to a report of a possible shooting on North Thor Street. At approximately 1:15 p.m., Turlock police and firefighters responded to a possible shooting on the 300 block of North Thor Street.

The Turlock Police Department arrested a Turlocker for possession and distribution of child pornography. On Thursday, Turlock Police Detectives arrested Gary Bishop, a 42 year old male from Turlock, after an investigation led to the discovery of over 10,000 images of child pornography. 
Earlier today at approximately 5 a.m., Turlock Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 250 South Walnut Road. Upon arrival, officers found two adult victims. These victims were previously described by Turlock Police Department spokesman Officer Steve Rodrigues as one male and one female.
Police have closed off South Walnut Avenue to investigate a shooting near the Motel 6 in Turlock. Early indications suggest two victims were injured by gunfire at about 5:00 a.m. near the Motel 6 on South Walnut Avenue.
