Anyone looking for a slice of Latif’s famous apple pie recently has surely been disappointed as the restaurant closed its doors for repairs. Latif’s has been making repairs to the drain lines for the past couple of weeks. However, fear not, as Latif’s hopes to reopen on Saturday.
Anyone looking up at the sky yesterday evening was sure to caught a beautiful sunset over Turlock. Lizette Villanueva was able capture a shot of the sky, which featured vibrant purples and reds mixed across the sky.

The lights were on at the Warrior’s Baseball Field Thursday night as baseball season is officially underway for California State University, Stanislaus. The Warriors (2-2) were swept by Fresno Pacific University (3-0) in a doubleheader Thursday, 3-1 and 7-1, respectively.
