California State University, Stanislaus students are flooding surrounding neighborhoods in hopes of finding a parking spot that will save them from purchasing a costly permit.

A CSU Stanislaus parking permit costs $180 for the average student this Spring semester, or $542 for a yearlong permit. Daily permits are $6.

The Spring 2014 semester at CSU Stanislaus started on Monday.

Maybe if the permit wasn't ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY dollars students would be able to afford it and park in the parking lot. Nobody ever thinks of the college students who are already drowning in debt. Come on.
